Artist's Comments

This is a picture of the artist, Tom Thomas, next to his stunning ten-foot tall dragon. Once again, this piece was hand carved from oak.

This impressive work of art is also functional. Its chest, carved from walnut wood, opens up to reveal a beer tap. Pictures of this feature soon to come.

The Dragon by ~Thomas-Carvings. The suggester was very enthusiastic and said, "Talk about throwing a party! This is functional art at its finest! Inside of this majestic sculpture is a fully functional beer tap! This masterpiece was hand-carved from oak and walnut wood, and stands ten-feet high!" According to the artist, the dragon's official title is the wonderfully amusing "Grog Dragon." (Suggested by =shadowed-light-waves and Featured by `Kitten-of-Woe)

That's pretty damn awesome! I love the feet, especially. Also, what're the wings made from?

Haha. It is, isn't it? And this is why my uncle needs me to manage this account. He doesn't understand the power of the word "epic".
:iconthomas-carvings:
Thank you! The wings are actually made from cheese cloth, believe it or not. ^^
:iconthomas-carvings:
Haha. Thanks. I think the technical title is "Grog Dragon". It's pretty much epic win.

I have the coolest uncle. Ever.
