Hello visitors,

My name is Alyssa Pupping, and I am managing this account for my Uncle, Thomas Thomas (yes, that's really his name). My Uncle Tom makes the most beautiful wooden sculptures. Each one is carved and finished by hand. Most of them are animals, some life-size and some miniature, and each one is completely unique.

Most of these amazing creations are available for sale, and the artist will also gladly make custom orders. For more details, please contact the artist through one of the following methods:

Email me at: Sashimi_Dragon@yahoo.com
or
Visit The Hot Shops Art Center

To find Tom's personal page on the website, click on "Studio Artists" then scroll down the list to find "Thomas, Thomas".

The Hot Shops Art Center is located in Omaha, Nebraska. That's where Tom makes and sells his sculptures.

A private website for Tom Thomas is currently in the works and will be up and running as soon as possible. I will post the link here once the website is fully functional.

More about the artist:

The combination of capturing the spirit of the animals while bringing out the natural beauty of the wood is Thomas Thomas' trademark.

The creations start with an idea and are transformed into reality by skillful, honest use of the materials, and studied understanding of the animals anatomy and majesty.

Layering pieces of wood together, a 3-dimensional form is born that is not just a static figure but a figure that moves. Many of the animal sculptures are made with movable parts, heads swivel, manes move when pet and tails and arms swing.

Others are whimsical yet functional art, liquor cabinets, bedroom sets, fireplace mantels and wet bars.

"As far back as I can remember I've always found wood fascinating and fun. As a child I would find scrap wood from house construction sites and make ships, push cars, and animals. While in the seventh grade I had a teacher give me some and wood pieces and was told to make something with them. I made my first man and won first place in the school art show. This inspired me collect all the necessary tools and equipment to create more unique and interesting pieces of art." Thomas Thomas
